Peer Review Policy

Prestieesci Research Review (PRR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a fair, transparent, and rigorous peer-review process. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is evaluated for originality, scientific quality, ethical compliance, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal's multidisciplinary scope. The journal follows an independent double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.

Initial Editorial Assessment

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation by the Editorial Office to ensure that it falls within the journal's scope and complies with the journal's submission guidelines. Manuscripts may also be screened for plagiarism, ethical concerns, completeness of submission files, and overall scientific quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected without external review.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial editorial screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers with relevant subject expertise. During the review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure an objective, impartial, and unbiased evaluation.

Reviewers are requested to assess manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and novelty of the research
  • Scientific and methodological rigor
  • Relevance and significance of the findings
  • Quality of data analysis and interpretation
  • Clarity, organization, and presentation
  • Ethical compliance and research integrity
  • Appropriateness of references and supporting literature

Editorial Decision

Following the completion of peer review, the handling editor considers the reviewers' recommendations before making one of the following editorial decisions:

  • Accept without revision
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Major revisions required
  • Reject

The final publication decision rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief or the designated Handling Editor.

Revision Process

Authors receiving revision requests should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed point-by-point response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation whenever necessary.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, maintain strict confidentiality, disclose any potential conflicts of interest, and provide constructive, evidence-based feedback within the requested review period. Reviewers must not use unpublished information obtained during peer review for personal or professional advantage.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for submitting original work, ensuring the accuracy of all reported data, obtaining appropriate ethical approvals where required, disclosing conflicts of interest, acknowledging funding sources, and responding to reviewer comments in a timely and professional manner.

Confidentiality

All submitted manuscripts, reviewer reports, editorial correspondence, and publication-related communications are treated as confidential documents and are accessible only to individuals directly involved in the editorial and peer-review process.

Publication Ethics

The journal is committed to upholding internationally accepted standards of publication ethics and research integrity. Allegations of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, image manipulation, authorship disputes, or other forms of research misconduct will be investigated and managed in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and recognized ethical publishing principles.

Review Timeline

The Editorial Office strives to provide authors with an initial editorial decision as promptly as possible. Review timelines may vary depending on reviewer availability, the complexity of the manuscript, and the extent of revisions required. Accepted articles are published online promptly under the journal's continuous publication model once all editorial and production requirements have been completed.
