Abstract

Translation is of the utmost significance as a means of developing efficient intercultural communication since it enables meaning to be transferred across a number of cultural contexts and languages. This makes translation an extremely important activity. It is possible for there to be significant ramifications for all of the parties involved when individuals of different ethnicities and linguistic backgrounds are unable to interact with one another in an efficient manner.
